Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Cowpanion works without sign-up. Your records are stored on your iPhone and synced through your own private iCloud.
My records aren't showing on my other iPhone or iPad.
Make sure both devices use the same Apple Account, iCloud is turned on for Cowpanion in Settings › [your name] › iCloud, and both are online. The first sync can take a few minutes.
How accurate is the camera weight?
It's an estimate from body length and chest depth, similar to a weigh tape. Log one real scale weight for an animal and Cowpanion corrects later estimates for that animal.
How do I restore my Premium purchase?
Open Settings in the app, tap Premium and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.
How do I cancel my yearly subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Cowpanion. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I stop sharing my barn or delete it?
In the app go to My Barn › Explore › Settings and tap Remove my barn. Your shared barn, its hearts and visits are deleted from the community. (Barn sharing arrives in the next update.)
I saw a barn with an inappropriate name or photo.
Open that barn, tap the ••• menu and choose Report. You can also block it so you never see it again.
Is Cowpanion veterinary advice?
No. Cowpanion is a record keeper and general guide. Always follow product labels and call your vet when an animal is sick.
